Grant
and the guys at Bay Group did a tremendous job of renovating the Takapuna
property. The project wasn’t straightforward and there were plenty of
curved balls along the way but every obstacle was overcome with a healthy mix
of professionalism, efficiency and good humour (the last one being an essential
ingredient for everyone involved in a renovation). There were several
situations where Grant came up with a practical solution to an issue that
cropped up - always with one eye on the project’s overall budget to try and
stop costs spiraling – and he showed plenty of innovation and a willingness to
stick his neck out when it made sense to do so (everyone still talks about ‘the
tent’ used to encase the building work early on in the project!).
The best question to answer in terms of recommending someone’s work is in
response to “would you use them again?” and in this case it’s an emphatic
“yes”.

This is as much a huge thank you as it is a personal reference and acknowledgement of professional services provided by Grant and his team during the renovation of our home in Kohimarama.
We struggle to express just how much admiration we have for Grant and the way he handled our contract. From the first meeting he set realistic expectations, communicated openly about how he expected the relationship to work and left us with no doubt that his focus was to provide us with the quality of workmanship befitting the level of investment.
It would be fair to say that Grant met and exceeded our expectations in all areas. He was pro‑active in dealing with any issues that arose and he was conscious of, and actively managed, communication with our neighbours, which was an essential aspect of the job.
